The workshop will be held at St Anne’s College, Oxford, one of the colleges of Oxford University. The College has excellent conference facilities and is within 10 minutes’ walk of the centre of the city of Oxford. We will use the Mary Ogilvie Lecture Theatre.
Accommodation will be booked as part of the registration process, with ensuite rooms costing £67.00 per night and standard rooms costing £42.00 per night. Details of the facilities available in are available on the St Anne’s College accommodation page.
Alternative accommodation is available if desired. The Travelodge at Oxford Pear Tree is on an easy Park and Ride bus route which will take you very close to St Anne’s College, and their rooms start at £15 if booked and paid for 21 days in advance. If you would like something more central in Oxford, prices will reflect this. The Tower House Hotel is very central and is quite reasonably priced but the rooms are rather quirky and individual. Oxford City Council has an accommodation search which may also be useful. Please note that to be close to the College or on an easy bus route you will want to search the Central and North areas. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org if you need further advice or help.
On the 3rd and 4th of September, the annual St Giles’ Fair is held. Unfortunately, this means that transport through central Oxford will be severely affected as St Giles’ and some roads running up to it will be closed from Sunday 2 to Tuesday 4 September.
