OCIAM student A. Stewart wins the QJMAM prize for a postgraduate student talk at the BAMC 2009. (April 2009)

After an intense three days of talks, with a strong contribution from students from OCIAM, it is very pleasing to announce that Andrew Stewart was awarded one of the four prizes for the best post-graduate presentations on offer. His talk was entitled "Non-traditional shallow water moedls of equatorial ocean currents'', and summarised work that he has done in collaboration with his supervisor Paul Dellar.
